Message	Any reliable and or big brand name alarm SAFELY allows remote start with a 5sp. Seeing as your mechanic would need to install the clutch pedal, he'd likely see alarm components if you had a piss poor alarm install. I would imagine that if you told him you had remote start before and you want it to work after both conversions, it would be up to him to tackle that job. Not sure the basis of the question. Did it work before and now it doesn't? Or did he have the car in gear and somehow accidentally started it? 1993 TT. R.I.P. 09.15.2010
